Travel Team
Shots up basketball supports an affiliate organization of boys and girls year-round travel teams (grades 4 through 12) under the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S. We welcome new players, coaches, and teams. Please check back for our attractive team packages offered within the Shots Up Organization.

Shots Up Basketball provides boys and girls from 1st grade through varsity with year-round opportunities to compete, develop their skills, and grow their love for the game.
Our leagues and tournaments offer elementary, middle, and high school athletes a competitive, well-organized environment to showcase their abilities. With experienced staff, certified referees, and quality competition, we are committed to delivering a safe, positive, and rewarding experience for every player and team.

Coach Chris Woodhall
Chris Woodhall has been involved in the basketball community for nearly 20 years. His passion for the game began in middle school and inspired him to pursue coaching and player development throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
In 2008, Chris co-founded DMV Finest, an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) organization. He later served as an assistant coach at Mount Vernon High School and South County High School, where he helped develop student-athletes both on and off the court.
Today, Chris is the Founder and Owner of Shots Up Basketball, an Alexandria, Virginia-based basketball organization. Shots Up hosts competitive leagues and tournaments for boys and girls from 1st grade through varsity throughout the DMV region.
